Corey Lewandowski, a senior Trump campaign official Glenn Beck Former President Donald Trump will likely use the debate to blast Vice President Kamala Harris in the same way he blasted President Joe Biden.
Lewandowski made the comments during an interview with Blaze Media co-founder Beck on his radio show on Tuesday. When Lewandowski said Harris would be exposed in the upcoming debates, Beck asked him to comment on Harris' lack of experience and policy proposals.
“She's scared to debate Donald Trump, so she wants to change all the rules here.”
“Nobody really believes that not taxing tips is her idea, right? Nobody believes that she actually supports a border wall. Nobody believes that she doesn't think Biden's economic policies are the direction of the upcoming election process. People believe, and they should believe, that she wants price controls. She's a Marxist at her best,” he said.
“The problem is, the media has covered her in the same way they covered Joe Biden's cognitive decline until the American people see it for themselves when she steps on the debate stage,” Lewandowski said. “And they're going to see it when Kamala debates Donald Trump.”
He also criticized Harris for trying to change the debate rules that Trump had previously agreed to with Biden.
“Glenn, you know this. She wants to be at the debate. She wants to take her debate notes. She wants to have the hot mic at the debate and say, 'I'm speaking. Mr. Trump, let me finish,' which is what she did last time,” he continued.
“We've already agreed to the rules of the debates,” Lewandowski continued. “She won't be on Fox News debates. She wants to change all the rules here because she's afraid of debating Donald Trump.”
Lewandowski briefly served as Trump's 2016 campaign manager and returned as a senior adviser for the 2024 election.
