Jesse James Decker is currently facing a health challenge that she has described as a mysterious illness. The 37-year-old country singer recently shared her experiences through Instagram Stories, indicating she’s been unwell for a bit.
In a post from last night, Jesse was seen relaxing in a hot tub, captioning it with, “Feeling a little better today…still have a slight fever and stomach ache but after yesterday’s day I’ll hang in there.” She mentioned that she is “fully committed to this thing right now,” noting that whatever she’s been dealing with has really taken a toll on her.
Jesse also engaged her fans by asking for movie suggestions to help pass the time while she’s stuck in bed.
In another update, she shared that she’d been having a tough morning, saying, “Good morning. I’m just going to have some more coffee. I don’t have a voice so I don’t know why I’m doing this. I think I forgot for a second.” She mentioned swelling in her face and felt much better last night but was still coughing and experiencing heaviness in her chest.
Jesse reported trying an inhaler to ease her symptoms, expressing that her illness keeps evolving in unexpected ways, which she found strange.
She concluded her posts by expressing hopes for a swift recovery. Jesse shared that she thought she was nearing the end of her troubles, only to wake up to new symptoms the next day.
In a light-hearted moment, she showed clips of herself preparing brunch and included a photo of herself on the couch, adding a caption that suggested some emotional heaviness: “My heart hurts. Maybe I need to see it or will it be over soon?”
Recently, Jesse and her husband Eric participated in Fox’s “Special Forces: The World’s Toughest Test.” They made it to day six before Eric had to withdraw due to an injury. Jesse chose to leave the competition to support him, which they both felt strengthened their relationship.
