Documentary Explores COVID-19 Deceptions

As the coronavirus pandemic fades from immediate memory for many in the U.S., Matt Kibbe, a host on Blaze TV, is keen on addressing the unanswered questions from that tumultuous time. His documentary series, The Cover-Up, delves into the misinformation and accountability issues surrounding COVID-19.

In the first five episodes, Kibbe collaborates with numerous experts and whistleblowers. Key figures include Dr. Jay Bhattacharyya from Stanford University, Senator Rand Paul, former Coronavirus Task Force advisor Scott Atlas, molecular biologist Dr. Richard Ebright, and journalist Matt Taibbi. For this episode, Kibbe teams up with Matt Ridley, a science writer and former member of the House of Lords. Initially skeptical of the lab leak theory, Ridley found himself reconsidering after examining growing evidence—ranging from genetic peculiarities in the virus to inconsistencies in early reports. He ultimately reached the striking conclusion: “This is not a conspiracy theory. This is a conspiracy.”

Episode 6 probes how the narrative of “natural origins” became widely accepted and fiercely guarded.

It spans unusual genetic traits in bat viruses, unexplained name changes, and sick miners whose samples were linked to a lab in Wuhan, alongside American funding for perilous gain-of-function research.
