Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons offered his opinion on the outcome of the Cincinnati Bengals' 26-25 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
Parsons suggested on “The Edge” podcast on Tuesday that some questionable calls by the referees benefited the Chiefs.
“That game was pretty crazy. The calls were pretty biased both ways and to be honest I think the refs were a little in favor of the Chiefs, but at the end of the day you can't put the game in the ref's hands,” Parsons said. About the episode.

During the game, the umpires made some loud calls, sparking controversy among fans.
The most talked about play of the game came in the final minute when the Chiefs offense and Patrick Mahomes faced a fourth down and 16 yard situation while trailing 25-23. Mahomes threw an incomplete pass to wide receiver Rushe Rice, but the referee threw a flag for pass interference and Kansas City advanced to the Bengals' 40-yard line. Kansas City then hit Harrison Butker for the game-winning field goal.
Mahomes came out victorious despite having one of his weakest games, completing 18 of 25 passes for 151 yards and two touchdown passes, as well as two interceptions, including one to a Bengals cornerback. Cam Taylor Britt He made some great plays and forced turnovers.
Parsons' comments about the games he didn't play came just days after the team's 44-19 blowout loss, one of the Cowboys' worst defensive performances since Parsons joined the team in 2021. But that didn't stop him from talking about the Chiefs and Bengals.
Parsons' commentary on other teams' business was one of the more surprising and controversial topics when he began his podcast last year, now in his second season.
Texans' CJ Stroud slams Cowboys' Micah Parsons for 'nasty comments'
During an episode last September, while discussing Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's relationship, Parsons encouraged other NFL players to pursue relationships with high-status celebrity women, specifically naming Zendaya as someone they should pursue, even though she has been in a long-term relationship with actor Tom Holland since 2021.
But Parsons insisted he plans to continue with the podcast and will not disrupt the team, adding that he does not want to cause controversy with his comments.
“I don't think anyone cares what I'm doing on a Monday afternoon when I'm home with my kids,” Parsons said. He told reporters August 21. “So why do you care if I'm on my Xbox or not? I think everyone has their own free time. When they're away from here, are they thinking about me at home? I hope not.”

“I try not to say anything controversial, but everyone is attracted to something. They're going to take one thing. We all have opinions. We're not going to agree with what everyone says. That's life.”
Meanwhile, Houston Texans quarterback CJ Stroud, in an Aug. 27 interview with The Boardroom, criticized Parsons' comments on the podcast.
“His takes are awful,” Stroud said, “but he's also a great friend of mine. Outside of the takes, I have nothing but good things to say about him.”
