of dallas cowboys Sitting at 3-3 after losing in embarrassing fashion detroit lions The Cowboys lost 47-9, an endlessly embarrassing performance. Almost allowing 50 points at home, they decided it made sense to try a field goal midway through the third quarter when they trailed 34-6.

The embarrassment didn't end there. Immediately after the game, Cowboys Stadium's X (formerly Twitter) account decided to tweet the attendance totals. 93,644 fans packed into the truly embarrassing display. And somehow AT&T Stadium decided to make the result even more embarrassing.

That's right, the Stadium X account decided to blur out the score on the graphic showing attendance.

Sports venues are also getting into the social media game, with most stadiums having X accounts to promote events and notable attendance numbers to fans. Some of the more avid fans may follow such accounts, but the number of followers is much smaller compared to the main team's accounts. The AT&T Stadium X account has 117,000 followers and the Dallas Cowboys X account has 4.4 million followers. The Detroit Lions account that tweeted the blurry scoreboard has 1.7 million followers.

As much as they don't want to show the score, they could easily have found a photo of the crowd that didn't include Jerry Jones' giant scoreboard. I know it's big, but you mean you couldn't take any other photos of the field that didn't require blurring the score?
