Representative Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) stated on Tuesday that she would “definitely” accept the IQ test challenge against President Trump.
She expressed this during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel’s ABC program on Tuesday.
Kimmel asked, “Do you believe it’s appropriate to release a direct IQ test for the US president?”
Crockett interrupted several times throughout Kimmel’s inquiries, affirming that she would “definitely” accept the challenge and concluded with an emphatic “definitely” after his questions.
Trump referred to Crockett as “a very low IQ individual.” During an appearance on DC-based WMAL Radio with host Vince Coglianese in March.
A video from a national Republican Congressional Committee dinner surfaced weeks before Crockett’s segment on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” where he remarked that the Texas Democrats “are facing significant issues if she represents the new talent in their party.”
“When you’re expected to lead the free world and your concerns revolve around local freshmen, that says a lot,” Crockett responded to the footage.
In mid-April, Crockett raised doubts about the president’s mental fitness in light of the economic turmoil caused by his stringent tariff policy.
“It’s not surprising to me that no one questioned his mental clarity or his capacity to serve,” she stated during an interview with MSNBC at that time.
“The fact that they called Joe Biden ‘Sleepy Joe Biden’ is ironic since you could rest easy at night knowing your 401(k) wouldn’t vanish overnight,” she further remarked.
Oka reached out to the White House for their response.
