Unprecedented protests are unfolding across Iran, distinguishing themselves not just by the sheer number of participants but also by the wide array of cities involved. Numerous videos have documented these Iranian protests, and they seem to be gaining traction. The catalyst? The deep-rooted suffering Iranians have endured under the Islamic Republic, which many hope has finally reached a tipping point.
The Iranian rial has plummeted to an all-time low. At this point, one million rials equates to less than a dollar. This economic downturn has far-reaching effects, hitting every Iranian citizen hard.
This upheaval follows a trend where Ayatollahs globally, including factions like Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis, have siphoned billions from Iranians to fuel their radical agendas. It looks like the funding strategy for the world’s largest terrorist network is back on course.
For months now, Iranians have been grappling with an unparalleled water and energy crisis. Power outages are rampant, reservoirs are running dry, and water shortages have become a significant concern. Millions have even evacuated from Tehran due to the lack of water supply.
Although they have endured this oppressive regime for nearly 50 years, the Iranian populace has collectively suffered immensely due to the ongoing mismanagement, corruption, and a focus on spreading radical Islam while battling the West.
Life in Iran isn’t just characterized by economic woes; it’s marked by a national disaster where millions face arrests, torture, and even disappearances. Personal experience sheds light on this; having lived there, I was arrested and sentenced to death, spending nine months in the notorious Evin prison solely for my Christian faith.
The drought has not only exposed significant incompetence but also the catastrophic mismanagement of essential resources. Depleted reservoirs have led to a grim discovery: 74 bodies found in one location, highlighting a deeper malevolence, as it seems these individuals were alive when thrown into the water, rather than executed elsewhere.
Past protests, such as those ignited by the murder of Mahsa Amini in 2022 and recent strikes by truck drivers in over 160 cities due to soaring prices, ultimately did not achieve the regime change many Iranians fervently hoped for.
At this juncture, Iranians are at their breaking point. The ongoing protests reflect a collective struggle against economic deprivation and a lack of fundamental needs. This crisis has unveiled horrifying aspects of the regime’s brutality. Many are now more vocally advocating for the restoration of the Pahlavi dynasty and backing Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi while denouncing the Ayatollah.
This push aims to apply pressure to bring down the current regime and liberate Iran.
However, this is also a global issue, demanding international pressure. This week, the Iranian president—who is often labeled “moderate”—made statements as Iranians put their lives on the line for their protests.
While they risk everything, they find motivation in hearing President Trump voicing support for military action against the Iranian regime, particularly targeting its Revolutionary Guards. After a 12-day conflict in June between Israel and Iran, Trump indicated he would back new military actions if Iran pursued its missile and nuclear ambitions.
Iranians realize that what’s essential from the outside is not negotiations but a firm commitment to dismantle the regime, including its leadership and military capabilities, even if that means cutting off its oil revenue. They seem willing to endure further hardship if it leads to true freedom.
The United States, alongside allies like Israel and even some Arab nations, must spearhead efforts to overthrow this regime, which many Iranians yearn for. There’s a sense of disappointment that the June conflict didn’t result in regime collapse or provide Iranians with the support needed to act decisively on their own.
The Islamic Republic has inflicted widespread suffering, not only on its citizens but also globally. It targets various nations and has repercussions far beyond Iran’s borders. It’s hard to think of a region that hasn’t been affected since the Islamic Revolution of 1979.
Thus, it’s vital for people worldwide to unite with a clear objective: to end the Islamic regime and restore Crown Prince Pahlavi, helping to rebuild a nation many Iranians dream of. Since World War II, such a move could significantly alleviate the plight of millions and foster peace.
Trump often emphasizes deals, but the real deal would emerge post-collapse of the Islamic regime, leading to necessary rebuilding in Iran. The U.S. could play a pivotal role in this transformation, bringing prosperity back to Iran while contributing to global peace. Israel’s expertise in water reclamation could also help restore vital resources and revive hope and life for the Iranian populace.
