The Czech Ski Federation said that the NOVA needed surgery to reduce brain swelling and stated that “as long as the medical team needs, it will be a medical -induced COM sleep.”

26 -year -old Nova participated in four races during the Beijing Olympics in 2022.
Her best finish was 14th in the women's Alpine Convention event. She also participated in the Mixed Team Parallel and ranked 14th. Women's downhill (28th place) and women's Super G (33rd).
NOVA also participated in the World Cup Race in 2019 and debuted in November, but did not qualify for the second round of Slalom events in Levi.
