Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott is suing a woman who accused him of sexual assault, saying the woman and her lawyer coerced him.
The lawsuit names accuser Victoria Shores and her attorneys Bethel Zehaie and Yoel Zehaie.
According to documents, Shores’ attorney sent a letter to Prescott earlier this year alleging that he sexually assaulted his client in 2017.
“MS. Mr. Shores has had to live with this pain and trauma for seven years,” the letter said. “It affected her relationship with her fiancé so much and her daily life that she had to go to therapy and counseling and will continue to need therapy and counseling.” I have suffered unimaginable emotional pain while dealing with the trauma of being a victim.
“Despite the tragic events, she intends to release this information to the public and refrain from filing criminal charges in exchange for compensation for the emotional distress she has suffered. Ms. Shores’ damages total $1. You must respond to this reminder by February 16, 2024.”

The letter accused Mr. Prescott of using “physical force” and “penetrating” him. [the accuser’s] While riding in an SUV, I violated her vagina against her consent. Her letter further states that Shores made it clear to her that she “did not want to have sex and that she made sure to communicate her wishes in her own words.”
Prescott’s lawyer, Levi McCathern, slammed Shores and her lawyers’ claims, calling them “fabricated.”
“Mr. Prescott recently became aware that he was the subject of an extortion scheme,” McCassan said. Said said in a statement to Pro Football Talk.
“The defendant and her legal team threatened to release a completely fabricated story about a sexual assault from nearly a decade ago and demanded that Ms. Prescott immediately pay $100 million in exchange for not pressing charges against authorities.

“Mr. Prescott, a new father of a baby girl, has great empathy for survivors of sexual assault. He believes all perpetrators of such crimes will be punished to the fullest extent of the law.” To be clear, Mr. Prescott has never engaged in non-consensual sexual activity with anyone. Lies hurt, especially egregious lies. will not allow the defendant and her legal team to profit from this attempt to extort millions of dollars from Ms. Prescott.”
Mr. Prescott’s lawsuit charges Mr. Shores with defamation, slander, and civil extortion/extortion. Mr. McCassan announced that Mr. Prescott would donate the proceeds from the lawsuit to the Joyful Heart Foundation.
