Daryl Hannah voices support for Ukraine on Oscars stage

Daryl Hannah has expressed her support for Ukraine at the Academy Awards.

“Slabaukraine!” The “Blade Runner” star said he applauded when he stepped onto the Oscar stage on Sunday and introduced the “Flower Film Editorial” category.

Hanna lifted two fingers to the signs of peace when she expressed her support in the term.

It's not the first time Hannah has supported Ukraine.writeSocial media said that “we will stand with you and all the victims of a brutal dictator and pointless war” shortly after Russia launched its invasion in 2022.

The 64-year-old performer's brief remarks came days after an explosive conflict between President Trump and Ukrainian President Voldy Mir Zelensky at the White House. At a tense, oval office meeting on Friday, Trump called Zelensky “disrespectful” and after Vice President Vance's history of ignoring Russian President Vladimir Putin's ceasefire agreement after Ukrainian leaders challenged him, he called him “unprepared for peace.”
