Davante Adams made his presence felt on the field in Sunday's game between the Jets and Jaguars.
But quarterback Aaron Rodgers said Adams' biggest contribution to the Jets since his trade with the Raiders in October has been on the practice field.
“He's a No. 1 receiver. He's a dynamic player,” Rodgers said. “I think the biggest influence on our team is his practice habits. What it means to be a professional, how to practice, how to stay in the league for a long time and get high.” I was able to see honestly how they play at their level.
“You see the way he goes about his work in meetings every day, takes notes, practices, gets everything done the way he always does, his attention to detail, his attention in the weight room. Those are all elements of professionalism and young As a player, I think it's good to see what that looks like and get an example from guys who have been at the top of this game for years.”
Rodgers and Adams had nine receptions for 198 yards and two touchdowns against the Jaguars.
The two will play the Rams on Sunday, when MetLife Stadium could look like Lambeau Field with a high of 25 degrees in the forecast.

The Jets just had a walkthrough on Wednesday, so the injury report is estimated, but DT Quinnen Williams (hamstring), CB Michael Carter II (back), and RG Aaliyah Berra-Tucker (ankle) have all practiced. It is stated that there is no. RB Braeron Allen (back), RB Isaiah Davis (back), CB Brandin Echols (shoulder), RT Morgan Moses (knee), and LB Quincy Williams (knee) all had limitations.
Safety Jalen Mills broke his collarbone Sunday when he intercepted a pass from Mac Jones. Mills finished the season and was placed on injured reserve.
DT Leki Fotu (knee) returned to practice. He is on disabled reserve. The team added RB Zach Evans, DL Bradley Anae, and tight end Neil Johnson to the practice squad.
