Before Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl married Jordyn Blum, his wife of 21 years, he made an eerie prediction about the couple's future.
In a resurrected interview with Q magazine, Grohl, who recently revealed he was a father out of wedlock, opened up about the night he met Blum while hanging out with his late bandmate Taylor Hawkins at the Sunset Marquis Whiskey Bar in Hollywood.
“Taylor was hot, because girls were buying him drinks,” Grohl told the outlet in 2007. “This beautiful girl came up and started talking to Taylor. I'd just finished a Tenacious D session, and I was in my Vans, no socks, dirty shorts, a dirty T-shirt, surrounded by Hollywood beauty.”

Unbeknownst to him, another woman (Bloom) appeared.
“I was like, 'Oh my God, no way!' So I got some drinks and I acted like an idiot, and by the end of the night, I was pissed, and I was looking at her and I was like, 'You're my future ex-wife,'” he said. “So she gave me her number and she was like, 'Jordyn, I'm your future ex-wife.'”
Two years after meeting, the couple married at their Los Angeles home in 2003. They have three daughters together: Violet, 18; Harper, 15; and Ophelia, 10.
On Tuesday, Grohl revealed the shocking news of the affair via social media.

“I recently became a father to a daughter born outside of marriage,” he said in a statement posted to Instagram. “I love my wife and children and intend to be a loving and supportive parent. I am doing all I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.”
“We appreciate your consideration for all of the children involved as we move forward together.”

Blum has tried to stay out of the spotlight for most of her marriage, but her husband has occasionally opened up about their relationship.
In a 2007 interview with Elle magazine, Grohl admitted that he ignored Bram at the beginning of their relationship.

“When I first met my wife, we went on a few dates and then I decided I wasn't ready for a serious relationship and I stopped calling,” he told the outlet at the time. “Three months later, I had an epiphany and called her back. She picked up the phone and said, 'Oh my gosh, I never thought I'd hear from you again.'”
Not much is known about the former model turned TV producer, but Blum has collaborated with her husband on a few different projects.
In 2002, Blum co-directed the Foo Fighters' “Walking a Line” music video, and in 2011, he appeared in the Foo Fighters' video for the hit “White Limo”.
She was the inspiration for some of the Foo Fighters' hit songs.
“This song is about me and my wife,” Grohl told GQ magazine about the band's hit “Statues” in 2007. “To me, there's nothing more beautiful than seeing a couple's gravestones lined up in a cemetery.”
Two years ago, Grohl AV Club The band's song “Burn Away” was a “romantic… prom ballad” inspired by Bram.

In a 2007 interview with The Guardian, Grohl said that his family, particularly his then-wife and only daughter, helped keep him grounded.
“I wouldn't be able to [tour] “If I wasn't grounded, I'd die, so Jordyn and Violet are my rocks to make sure I don't disappear completely,” he said.
