Dave Matthews Joins Anti-Israel Protest, Calls Netanyahu Address ‘Disgusting,’ ‘Obscene’

Rocker Dave Matthews was among a crowd of anti-Israel protesters who gathered in Washington DC on Wednesday to protest the visit of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The news media Al Jazeera tracked him down and interviewed him.

“This is a repulsive show of support for someone who does not deserve our support,” Matthews despaired in an on-air exchange with the outlet.

He made no mention of the hostages taken when Hamas terrorists invaded southern Israel on October 7 last year, nor did he give any consideration to their fate since then.

It was the most horrific attack on Jewish people since the Holocaust, slaughtering babies, raping women, burning entire families alive and taking hundreds of innocent civilians hostage, the American Jewish Committee said. Note.

Matthews also ignored the atrocities that the terrorist organization Hamas has committed against Israel over countless years, as it strives to annihilate Israel and its people.

Instead, he switched to harsh rebukes and contempt for Netanyahu, the elected leader, calling his speech “nasty.”

His only justification for his claim was that “I am ashamed that my tax money is being used to brutalize an entire nation.”

As Breitbart News reported, anti-Israel protesters occupied roads near the Columbus monument in Washington on Wednesday and vandalized the monument in reaction to Prime Minister Netanyahu’s visit.

They also graffitied the Liberty Bell.

Meanwhile, several members of parliament boycotted Netanyahu’s speech or casually heckled him.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) was seen holding a sign that read “War Criminals.”
