Dave Portnoy is expecting a high-scoring game in Saturday's early NFL game.
“Let's double your money in 3 hours tomorrow,” Portnoy wrote to X. “Texans vs. Ravens over 43.5 [points]. #DDTG”
The Barstool Sports founder was so confident in his bet that he had to tease it about 30 minutes before announcing the bet.
“We're releasing another 4 bags!!” 2:15 p.m. #ddtg,” he wrote to X.
Portnoy has had good betting luck this month.
After coming out of gambling retirement in December, Portnoy bet $1 million on Michigan to beat Alabama in the College Football Playoff semifinals, a deal that became a reality on New Year's Day.
Portnoy earned another $500,000 when the Washington Huskies defeated the Texas Longhorns to advance to the College Football Playoff national championship game.
The AFC divisional total for the Texans vs. Ravens started at 46 points, but has fallen to 43.5 points as of Friday night.

The AFC's top-runner, the Ravens, are the favorites to win with a 9.5-point difference over the Texans, but Houston has overwhelming support from public bettors.
As of Thursday night, the Texans had won 62 percent of both bets and handles against the spread, according to the Action Network, making them arguably the most popular team on this weekend's Divisional Round schedule.
