Dave Portnoy releases Zach Bryan diss track after country singer’s ugly breakup with Barstool host

Dave Portnoy has further escalated his feud with “liar Zach Bryan” after the country singer split from Barstool podcast host Briana “Chickenfry” LaPaglia.

On Wednesday, Portnoy posted a five-minute song dissing Barstool personality Josh Richards. In it, he calls Brian “ugly” and a “bitch” and accuses him of cheating. Titled “Smallest Man,” the nickname Portnoy gave Brian, the singer announced their breakup.

The Barstool founder and Richards host the podcast BFFs with Chicken Fry and previously supported her when she said she was “blindsided” by her breakup with Brian.

The song begins with Richards rapping about Brian apparently using a dating app right after he broke up with Chicken Fries, before Portnoy, 47, appears with a scathing verse attacking Brian's appearance.

“I believed you, I said your pants were on fire/Tinder, Bumble, Raya, I knew you were a liar. “You're an adbag, you just created a new rival /Soon you'll need a revival,'' Richards begins, quoting Brian's song “Revival,'' among others.

“You messed up. / It's going to be gross / Post it on your Instagram story / You say you remember everything, but I don't think it's because you forgot your wedding ring.”

Brian confirmed his breakup with Chicken Fry after a year of dating in a message on his Instagram Story last month. The country singer was previously married to Rose Madden from 2020-21.

In response, Chicken Fry said she was blindsided by Brian's messages and insisted the pair had agreed to keep their breakup quiet.

In the video, Portnoy, 47, and Richards, 22, dressed as police officers with fake mustaches, can be seen hitting a man resembling Brian, 28, who is driving a pickup truck. It is parked at.

Richards goes on to rap that it's “disgusting” that Brian did something wrong with the chicken fries.

Then comes Portnoy, who wasted no time in dropping Taylor Swift's name.

“You little bitch Zack, shit, shit, you have an ugly face and there's no way to fix it,” Portnoy began. “Boss singing country songs, baby, give that kid a snack/Another tantrum, it’s nap time/Doing a Baidu Gram story where you apologize like a fucking abs because you thought you were trying to diss Taylor Swift Ta.”

This was in reference to last month, when Bryan said in his “X” post that he believed Kanye West was better than Swift, for which Bryan later apologized and said he had not been drinking at the time. He said he was there.

“Based on your tweets, I think you have a drinking problem,” Portnoy continued, adding that Brian's head “looks like Legos” and his hair is like Homer Simpson's. .

The video ends with an excerpt of Brian's song “28” about his relationship with chicken fries, but Portnoy and Richards changed the original lyrics.

Portnoy told X that the video was removed from YouTube on copyright grounds.

“Zach Bryan and @warnermusic have got to be the worst crisis management executives in the world.” he wrote. “I'm running around like a decapitated chicken trying to get #smallestman off the internet. Didn't anyone tell me I run an internet company? They said this was #1 I just guarantee that it will happen.”

Brian has yet to publicly address the video.
