Georgia football legend David Pollack revealed that his wife, Lindsay, is battling a brain tumor.
“I don't share much of my personal life on social media, but today it's not going to be,” Pollack said. Posted on x on monday. “If you're the type of prayer, lift your wife, Lindsay. She has brain cancer and the surgery will be in Duke on Wednesday. Thank you for serving the loving God we meet in our struggle!”
Pollack played for Georgia three seasons from 2002 to 2004 and was a nationalist every year. One of the two players in Bulldog history, along with Herschel Walker, won national honors in three seasons.
In 2020, Pollack was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
The Bengals drafted him in the first round in 2005, but he suffered a career-ending neck injury during his second season.
Pollack, 42, was a popular college football analyst on ESPN from 2013-23.
Many in the soccer community sent him their best wishes.

“Prayers for the whole Lindsay and the Pollack family,” Kirk Herbstrate added.
Davis and Herbstreit worked closely with Pollack on ESPN's “College Gameday” show.
“I will definitely lift her up to my brother! I pray for a stable hand and a full recovery,” Ryan Clark said. “Blessed DP.”

Pollack is currently hosting a podcast called “Family Goal Pod.”
He and Lindsay run the Pollack Foundation. The Pollack Foundation said, “We aim to have a positive impact on our communities by empowering families in Athens and Greater Atlanta areas by providing basic needs and opportunities for prosperity.
