DC dog daycare employee kicked, killed puppy

A Washington, D.C., dog daycare center has fired an employee for allegedly kicking a puppy so violently that it caused its death.

On February 16th, a family brought a puppy named Bronny to District Dogs, a dog daycare, boarding, grooming and training service.

While the puppy was being kept at District Dogs at the Navy Yard, an employee was feeding it and the dog “became too energetic,” the paper said. WJLA.

The former employee then reportedly kicked the dog until it lost consciousness. Officials said the dog was taken to a nearby veterinary hospital, but could not be revived.

The employee reportedly reported the matter to the police himself.

No District Dogs employee has been charged with any crime so far.

Humane Animal Protection Law Enforcement has opened an investigation into the dog’s death.

District Dogs said it has fired the employee and is cooperating fully with the investigation.

“The District Dogs family is heartbroken by this incident and sends our deepest sympathies to the dog’s family. We are saddened by their loss at this very difficult time,” the dog daycare said. said in a statement.

This is not the first fatal dispute with the District Dogs.
