The Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) has arrested dozens of people in Colorado in a raid targeting a Venezuelan gang.
DEA's Rocky Mountain Arm Posted on x Nearly 50 people were arrested at “makeshift nightclubs” outside of Denver.
The party was “by invitation only” and the party was connected to the Torren de Aragua (TDA) gang, the DEA said.
video share online A bus was shown robbing “50 illegal aliens” from a nightclub in Adams County. They were taken into custody by Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Denver.
The DEA said drugs, weapons and cash were seized in the raid.
DEA agents, along with Homeland Security Investigations, ICE and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives officers, participated in the attack early Sunday morning.
TDA originated as a prison gang in Aragua, Venezuela, but has recently “expanded rapidly” in the Western Hemisphere. The Biden administration last year labeled it a transnational criminal organization.
The arrest was part of a months-long investigation into gang activity in the city, Denver7 reported.
The attack comes days after President Trump launched a crackdown on immigration.
The gang became a flashpoint in the election, with Trump visiting Aurora, Colorado.
