National Margarita Day Discounts Across the U.S.

On National Margarita Day, various bars throughout the U.S. are celebrating with special deals on margaritas, from the classic frozen varieties to some intriguing spicy spins.

This Sunday, February 22nd, a well-known restaurant chain will roll out a limited-time offering, featuring tequila-based cocktails at reduced prices.

Here’s a rundown of five eateries serving up special menus this year.

Try Making “Fluffy Juice” at Home

Chili’s appears to be taking the lead with some great promotions, including $5 Tequila Classics at participating locations. They also have a “Margarita of the Month” for $6, which mixes Lunazul Blanco Tequila, Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka, and strawberry puree. I think it’s a clever way to keep things fresh; customers can subscribe to access the changing margarita selections.

For those who enjoy a classic, the Patrón Frozen Margarita—a blend of Patrón Silver Tequila, triple sec, and lime juice—is available for just $7.

Other popular national chains are also joining the savings.

TGI Fridays is offering $5 Super Fresh Margaritas, crafted with Don Julio Blanco and freshly squeezed lime juice, all weekend long, as advertised on their Facebook page.

Duffy’s Sports Grill is running quite a deal with El Jimador Margaritas priced at only $2.22 for dine-in customers at select locations this Sunday.

If you’re thinking of extending the festivities, Kona Grill will continue to offer its signature Kona Margaritas for $6 all day at the bar, available until February 25th.

Along with that, diners can choose from a variety of handcrafted options, like the Watermelon Margarita with Lunazul Tequila and fresh lime, or the Passion Rita with Astral Blanco Tequila blended with passion fruit.

Margaritaville is putting a fun twist on the celebration too; they’re inviting guests to bring their own cup to fill it with a Margarita in Paradise for just $5 on Sunday. If you’re a member of their Paradise Points Dining Rewards program, it’s even cheaper at $2.

Keep in mind, offers and prices can vary by location, so it’s best to check in with your local restaurant before heading out.
