New Jersey Therapist’s 911 Call Released Following Husband’s Murder
Authorities have made public a tense 911 call from Connor Hanlon, the husband of therapist Brooke Hanlon, in a troubling stabbing incident in New Jersey. The call captures Hanlon’s frantic pleas for help after he discovered his wife unresponsive and bleeding on the second floor of their home. As of now, no suspects have been identified, and there is a $1,000 reward offered for any information related to the case.
The investigation takes an unsettling turn with another connected case in Missouri. The body of Alexandra “Allie” Hamel, a 36-year-old nurse and the spouse of a well-known anesthesiologist, was found at her home in New London on June 23. Police responded to a 911 call, and following investigation protocols, the medical examiner has requested an autopsy to determine the cause of death but has released few details since then.
ALEXANDRA HAMEL, a licensed nurse, was married to Dr. Andrew Hummel, who is a licensed anesthesiologist. Interestingly, despite the ongoing investigation, Andrew has not commented publicly and has not faced any charges related to his wife’s death.
Andrew Hummel’s past is also noteworthy. Court records reveal he pleaded guilty in March 2026 to assaulting a woman and was arrested in July 2025 for domestic violence against someone he had been in a relationship with. Following these alarming incidents, it seems that his professional life continues; he is now self-employed with his own anesthesia practice.
The situation remains opaque. As investigators work tirelessly, the mystery surrounding both cases raises numerous questions, leaving families, friends, and the communities involved seeking answers.
