CHICAGO, Illinois — Green Party presidential candidate Dr. Jill Stein said in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News that she believes the “deep state” is making decisions for the Biden administration. She also predicted that Vice President Kamala Harris’ “ship” will “sink.”
Breitbart News videographer Matthew Purdy caught up with Stein after a counter rally on the second night of the Democratic National Convention at Grace Church in Chicago’s Logan Square, just a few miles from the United Center.

Purdy asked Stein how she responded when Democrats named Harris their front-runner, even though she didn’t receive a single vote in the Democratic primary.
Stein said she thinks a switch in the top spot in the nomination race from Harris to Biden is “inevitable.”
“Joe Biden’s balloon was about to pop because they were surrounding him. You know, he’s a guy who can’t think clearly, can’t carry on a conversation, can’t even read off a teleprompter,” Stein said.
“You know this man was not fit to be president. He is not fit to be president at this time. We don’t want this man being woken up at 2 a.m. by a hotline with an emergency that he has to solve,” Stein continued. “Who is making the decisions here? You know, not elected people. It’s the deep state. It’s his staff.”

Stein added that Biden “should never be president” and said he “flipped and burned out” before launching a scathing attack on Harris and predicting his own candidacy would be doomed.
“Well, they’re going to do the same thing with Kamala Harris because we’re all watching her,” Stein said. “We’ve watched her for four years and we’ve seen her before that. She had to withdraw from the 2020 primary because she had zero support. She’s going to be really humiliated in her home state of California.”

“So it’s only a matter of time. That ship is going to sink too. Democrats have shot themselves in the foot here,” Stein stressed.
She then slammed the entire party, saying Americans are “angry” about the empty promises the Democrats constantly break.
“Democrats make a lot of promises they don’t keep,” Stein said. “Republicans don’t even make those kinds of promises to anyone but their big donors. But they make promises to the average working person and then they break them all the time.”
“So people are really angry and they’re voting against Democrats, not necessarily because they like the alternative, but because they’re really angry at the Democrats,” she added.
