Delta is introducing new flights to these college towns right before football season.

Touchdown for kickoff!

Delta is ramping up its flight offerings for this fall’s college football season.

More than 40 new flights are being added to assist fans in reaching 25 cities across the country, ensuring stadiums are filled for the games.

This marks the most extensive college football flight schedule ever introduced by an airline.

Amy Martin, Delta’s Vice President of Network Planning for North America, expressed enthusiasm, stating, “College football is one of America’s great traditions, and Delta is excited to help bring more fans to the game that matters most to them.”

She mentioned that these expansions will add approximately 8,000 seats to accommodate fans, which, I think, is a pretty significant increase. It’s all about making it easier for supporters to be there for every kickoff, touchdown, and victory.

A detailed list of additional flights can be found.

These extra flights will assist fans in securing their seats to catch some of the season’s most awaited matchups, such as LSU in Clemson, as well as games involving Texas, Ohio, and multiple Notre Dame games.

The college football season kicks off on Saturday, August 23rd, with what’s called “Zero Week.” Most teams will launch their regular seasons the following Saturday, August 30th, and it’s set to wrap up on December 13th.

Typically, flights will depart on Fridays and return on Sundays, so fans can enjoy an extended celebration over the weekend.
