This is the reunion of “Camp Rock”!
The Jonas Brothers surprised fans by welcoming Demi Lovato, Joe Jonas’ ex-girlfriend, for a special performance at their concert during the “Jonas20: Greetings from Your Hometown Tour” at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey this past Sunday night.
Joe Jonas treated the crowd to a rendition of “Gotta Find You,” a song from the 2008 Disney Channel movie.
Demi joined Joe, along with his brothers Nick and Kevin, who performed other beloved songs from “Camp Rock,” including “This Is Me” and “I Don’t Change a Thing.”
On TikTok, Lovato shared a clip from the concert, expressing her gratitude by writing, “Thank you for having @Jonas Brothers🫶.”
There were behind-the-scenes moments too. Lovato posted a video where they lip-synced to “I Don’t Change a Thing.” In another clip, they mimicked a classic viral speech by Debbie Ryan, captioning it with “@joejonas for history.”
Fans shared their excitement on social media, with one stating, “This healed something in me,” and another saying, “My 2025 is complete.” Someone even expressed disbelief, writing, “This should heal all the Disney kids out there ☺️.” A third fan reminisced, referring to their characters from the film, saying, “Mitchie and Shane are forever 🥹.”
Demi’s husband, Jordan “Jute” Lutes, also reacted to the memorable moment, sharing a clip of her on stage and posting, “I couldn’t be more proud… I love you so much, babe.”
Before Demi appeared, the Jonas Brothers reminisced about “Camp Rock” to the audience. Nick reflected, “Joe got the job, and somehow our dad found a way to let me and Kevin join the film too.”
Demi and Joe dated briefly in 2010 but, in 2020, Lovato revealed she was no longer in touch with him or his brothers.
This past May, Lovato married Jute in California after getting engaged in December 2023. Meanwhile, Joe is also in a different chapter of his life, having married “Game of Thrones” actress Sophie Turner. They share two daughters, but their divorce was confirmed last September amidst a custody battle.
