Democrat Candidate George Conway Promises to Remove Donald Trump Permanently with Third Impeachment

Conway’s Bold Threat Against Trump

Democrat George Conway has indicated he might seek to permanently “remove” President Donald Trump if he wins the election for New York’s 12th Congressional District. In a recent video, Conway, known for his opposition to Trump, mentioned that the fight with the president is just beginning.

“Hello Donald, it’s me, George Conway. I paid you $88 million, and I’m only getting started. I know you like branding everything from airplanes to the Kennedy Center—which is unfortunate,” he said. “But once I’m finished with you, the only thing that will be linked to your name will be that orange jumpsuit you’ll end up in. And see that building?” Conway gestured towards the Capitol. “That’s where your final impeachment trial will take place, the one that will expel you forever. I’m looking forward to it.”

Conway emphasized the need to address pressing national issues, like soaring gas prices, which have reached $6 a gallon in some areas. He blamed Trump for these problems, stating that they can’t be resolved until Trump is impeached and convicted. “That’s why I’m running for Congress, and you’re going to regret it,” he added.

In December, Conway officially filed to run for Congress, marking his transition into electoral politics and an evident shift towards the Democratic Party, quite a change for someone with his Republican background.

While Conway didn’t outline specific charges against Trump in his video, a White House press secretary responded with skepticism, referring to him as “Frivolous George Conway,” and claimed that he suffers from what they termed “Trump Derangement Syndrome,” suggesting it had affected his mental faculties.

Earlier this year, it was reported that Conway was intent on impeaching both Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance, even if it meant manipulating the longstanding procedures of the U.S. Senate.

Conway has previously described Trump as acting like a fascist dictator and participated in protests against authoritarianism, even wearing a shirt proclaiming “I am Antifa.” His recent impeachment threat arrives amidst hesitation from Democratic leaders about launching another removal effort, despite calls from many within the party. Trump has faced impeachment twice before, in 2020 and 2021, but was acquitted both times by a Republican Senate.
