Democrat Confirms Trump’s Claims About the Importance of the Midterm Elections

Impeachment Plans from New Jersey Rep. Coleman

On Wednesday, Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman from New Jersey shared with voters her intention to impeach President Donald Trump if the Democrats regain control of both the House and Senate in the upcoming elections.

Reports indicate that Trump has warned Republicans about the potential for his impeachment should Democrats win in the midterms. Coleman referenced this idea, suggesting that a Democratic victory could change the dynamics of impeachment votes significantly.

“The only way to remove him would be through the 25th Amendment,” Coleman explained, but noted that it would necessitate the vice president and the Cabinet acting against Trump—a scenario she deemed unlikely because many in his circle are loyal to him. “But, I’m telling you, if you elect Democrats to both chambers, he’s going to face impeachment. That’s one way to address the situation,” she added.

During the town hall meeting that lasted about an hour, Coleman also voiced her concerns regarding Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro, Israel’s actions towards Hamas, and the activities of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

The White House and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries did not provide comments when asked about these developments.

Additionally, Democratic Rep. Al Green from Texas has attempted to push impeachment resolutions through the House several times in 2025, always gaining substantial support.

Trump was impeached twice during his first term by a Democratic-majority House—once for a phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and again following the January 6, 2021, insurrection at the Capitol. Both times, he was acquitted by the Senate.

Recently, some Democrats have aimed at impeaching Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, linked to several incidents involving law enforcement shootings. These events included the tragic death of Renee Nicole Good during an immigration raid and another incident involving agents injuring an individual. Following these events, protests emerged.

Currently, two Border Patrol agents are on leave while an investigation into a related shooting continues. Preti’s parents indicated that she appeared in a video confrontationally engaging with federal agents prior to her death, according to reports.
