Scott, who recently announced his bid for Republican Senate Majority Leadership against former Democratic Rep. Debbie Mucarsel Powell for reelection, said in an interview with Breitbart News on Thursday that he has been “vocal” in his support for IVF, especially since his daughter has undergone the process.

Beyond IVF, Scott called on Republicans to deliver consistent messaging on the issues that matter most to them heading into November.
“Let me be clear: our policies to secure the border will make your family safer. Our policies to secure the border will reduce the chances that your child will die from a fentanyl overdose,” he said. “Our policies to close the border will ensure that there aren’t as many gangs and criminals in this country. Your daughter won’t have to play against boys in girls’ sports in high school. They won’t even be able to come into your bathroom.”
