Democrat senator tells reporters how to do their job, instructs them to lie about Donald Trump — but it blows up in his face

Sen. Brian Schatz (D-Hawaii) on Saturday directed the media to lie about former President Donald Trump.

Over the weekend, Democrats and traditional media promoted blatant lies about President Trump after he used the word “blood” at a campaign rally in Ohio. They claimed that President Trump was threatening political violence if he lost the election.

But that’s not what President Trump was doing.

Rather, he used the word “bloodshed” in an economic context regarding the auto industry. However, despite that fact, Sen. Schatz required journalists to distort the true meaning of President Trump’s statements and gave instructions on how to create headlines for news articles about President Trump’s statements.

“Headline writers, stop trying to get ahead of yourself. Just say ‘Trump promises to bloodbath if he doesn’t win the election,'” Schatz wrote on social media.

The chilling message that a sitting lawmaker was dictating how the media should report and directing reporters to spread outright lies did not go unnoticed.

  • “A U.S. senator is telling corporate media outlets how to properly cover stories by pushing misinformation to their viewers, and most corporate media outlets are doing just that.” Steve Krakauer, executive producer of The Kelly Show. Said.
  • ”[On the other hand]It’s bad to lie to your readers,” says commentator Mary Kathryn Hamm. answered.
  • “Senator Schatz has suggested, and even demanded, that the media has spread partisan lies. Admitting this means you can understand what is going on in this individual case. It doesn’t say anything about you other than that,” said National Review writer Charles Cook. I got it..
  • “Democratic Senators Advice Journalists: Don’t Think Too Much About What You Write” Author Byron York ridiculed.
  • “Ironically, you’re the one trying to incite violence” radio host Jason Lantz Said.
  • “Typically these instructions are given in private…” Media reporter Joe Concha reacted.

The Democratic Party’s motivation for pushing outright misrepresentation at best and manipulative lies at worst about the party’s biggest political opponent is clear. Trump’s comments amounted to a Rorschach test, thus confirming his assumptions about Trump.

In fact, Schatz Admitted as many as possible.

But the important thing about the Rorschach test is that it says nothing about reality or truth. Instead, it reveals the subject’s inner projection. And in this case, Schatz’s response tells voters exactly what they need to know about him.
