Democratic clash: Jasmine Crockett vs. James Talarico

Texas Senate Race Heats Up Between Democrats

In the race for a Texas Senate seat, a rivalry has emerged between Texas Democrats Jasmine Crockett and James Talarico, creating quite a stir. Blaze TV host Sarah Gonzalez humorously remarks on the situation, describing it as a “cage match” between two of the most unique personalities around.

On one side, there’s Jasmine Crockett, whom Gonzalez refers to as the “fake ghetto rat,” while on the other is James Talarico, who has recently stirred controversy. This comes after Stephen Colbert claimed that his interview with Talarico wasn’t allowed to air on CBS.

However, CBS has clarified that the interview was never prohibited. They noted that “The Late Show” opted to air the segment on its YouTube channel to comply with FCC rules regarding equal time for other candidates, including Crockett.

Gonzalez highlights a perceived deception, stating, “There was a lie,” suggesting that it was part of a strategy to promote Talarico. She expressed skepticism about Talarico’s prospects, asserting, “Even if he doesn’t win, it won’t be too embarrassing for him.” This comes after Crockett’s attempt to challenge Talarico’s statements.

Continuing her playful remarks, Gonzalez jokingly suggested that Crockett should call out Colbert for bias, implying that he preferred not to have Black women discussing the Senate race.
