Democratic Govs Promise Massive Resistance to Border Enforcement

Democratic governors and mayors are promising massive resistance to the imposition of Americans' civil rights to secure our borders.

Two Democratic governors and their political allies founded two groups. Governor who protects democracy and Governor's Action Alliance — to oppose President-elect Donald Trump's mandate to implement popular immigration legislation in 2024.

“If someone comes in and forcibly removes us from our homes, I will do everything I can to protect illegal immigrants and our community.” [migrants] Please stay away from us,” said co-founder Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker. told MSNBC November 13th:

“The concern is that he is talking about pursuing compliance with the law.” [migrants] …a person working as a construction worker or agricultural worker[riculture] Or in the hospitality industry,” said Jared Polis, the group’s co-founder and wealthy Democratic Colorado governor. said CPR.ORG, “Obviously, it would devastate our economy,” he claimed.

Pritzker, who boasted during the Democratic National Convention that he is a billionaire real estate investor, added:

We want to make sure that people's rights are not being violated. [workplace] For example, a raid conducted in conjunction with local law enforcement. [migrants] Frankly, they've kept their jobs and they've been in this country for a long time. We believe that is inappropriate and it is not acceptable in the state of Illinois.

Polis described illegal immigrants as “Americans” and said:

We have people who have built their lives here and have families here, so-called mixed-status families. It could be a husband or a wife, one of whom is documented and the other is undocumented. The children were born here and are American. In other words, we shouldn't tear apart the de facto American family. The only reason another family member is not fully documented and eligible is because Congress failed to secure our borders and enact comprehensive immigration reform.

Both governors said Biden's support for 9 million immigrants despite the Democratic Party's support for millions of ordinary Americans imposes huge criminal, civil, professional, and pocket money fines on illegal immigrants. said it would be beneficial to influential employers and businesses.

Many Democratic-run states, such as New York, also welcome immigrants, in part because it helps hide state governments' mismanagement of education, innovation, wages, and economic growth.

“Every tool in our toolbox must be used to protect our people, protect our residents, and protect our state,” Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey said. said MSNBC on November 8th. “We all recognize that there is tremendous pressure on states and state officials,” she acknowledged.

Her state is importing poor immigrants to compensate for the exodus of disaffected young Massachusetts residents to other states.

California Governor Gavin Newsom is also pushing for new legislation to frustrate President Trump's 2024 border law enforcement mandate.

We have a mission. I think the American people just gave President Trump a mission. That's why he was chosen to secure our borders, save lives, and deport people, especially national security threats and public safety threats. Therefore, if you are not going to help us, please step aside. But don't interrupt us. Because there are consequences.

In response, the governors of Colorado and Illinois are now saying they will cooperate with President Trump's plan to repatriate some immigrants who have committed crimes.

“I want to be clear that there are certain circumstances in which the federal and state governments should work together to grant deportations. For example: was convicted of a crime [emphasis added] This is a suspected violent crime,” Pritzker told MSNBC, adding:

But they're talking about rounding up law-abiding illegal immigrants in this country. Many of them work and pay taxes [to state and local governments]. …So, look, I'm going to do everything I can to protect illegal immigrants. They are residents of our state. And I also think it's clear that what they're going to do in our state, the federal government, we need to make sure that it's actually within federal or state law. ”

“We appreciate the federal government’s assistance in apprehending and deporting people who commit crimes and are a danger to Colorado, and our fellow Coloradans,” Polis said. He added: “We would be happy to assist with any additional federal assistance in combating Venezuelan gangs and swiftly imprisoning, detaining, and deporting those who commit crimes such as robbery.”
