Hedge Fund manager Bill Ackman said on Wednesday that Democrats need to require a “complete reboot” for “the world according to Boyar.”
Host Jonathan Boyard said, “I mean, where is the Democrats going from here?”
Ackman said, “They really put themselves in the hole. Democrats need a full reboot. The problem is that people in leadership and power generally don't want to give up on power. But this is when many people need to step down in disgrace. Party needs a full reboot. They continue to double all the mistakes and policies that have been made before.”
He continued. “If I were a leader who is a member of the Democratic Party, I would say I love this effort to eliminate government waste, fraud and abuse. The DOJ is great. I just want to make sure there is some checks and balance. Instead of marching and opposing and telling members of staff to avoid responding to emails like this, something like that, let us know. It's kind of a lot. I don't really think of myself as a part of the party. I don't think of myself as a Republican. I had to check the box to vote in New York City.”
Ackman added: I like to vote for people I think are the best candidates regardless of political affiliation. But Democrats have not served for longer than that in the last four years. Regarding the best candidates. ”
