A Democratic elected official in Chicago has been arrested after allegedly causing a three-car collision and making inappropriate comments about the arresting officer's penis.
The Chicago Sun-Times first reported the incident.. Elected official Samantha Steele, 45, was arrested Sunday around 8:50 p.m. after she crashed into another car in North Chicago, causing a three-car pileup, the newspaper reported.
During the arrest, Steele repeatedly asked the arresting officer, “Is your penis that small?”
Mr. Steele serves on District 2 of the Cook County Board of Review, which oversees property tax assessments in and around the city of Chicago.

When Chicago police arrived at the scene, they found “extensive” damage to the vehicle involved and Steele lying on the sidewalk, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.
“I observed that her eyes were bloodshot and glassy,” an officer wrote in the report. “There was also a strong odor of alcoholic beverages coming from her breath as she spoke. “I felt it,” he wrote.
The officer immediately smelled a strong odor of alcohol and noticed an open bottle of red wine on the passenger side floor of Steele's car, according to the police report.
When the officers asked Steele how much alcohol she had to drink, she replied, “I want you to get a lawyer. I'm not talking to you.” She refused a field sobriety test and was arrested and handcuffed.

The Chicago Sun-Times reported that instead of calling a lawyer, Steele called Cook County Commission member Scott Britton, who then referred her to a criminal lawyer.
Steele is charged with misdemeanor DUI. Her trial date is set for Dec. 27.
Mr. Steele will be elected to the Cook County Board of Supervisors in 2022 and will serve a four-year term until 2026.
Steele and the Cook County Board of Review did not respond to Fox News Digital's requests for comment.
