Salem City Councilman Kyle Davis, who is planning a pro-transgender rally in front of Moulton's office this Sunday, told Fox News Digital that he is actively contributing to another candidate running against Moulton. He said he intended to do so and even called for the lawmaker's resignation by 2026.

“I certainly want Seth Moulton to resign, and I will stand with the Democratic Party and LGBT allies who are running against him,” Davis said.

Moulton's initial comments on the matter were rooted in his status as the father of two daughters. In television interviews on CNN and MSNBC, the Democratic Party took a firm stance and did not offer any apologies.

But Moulton also said in an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital's Liz Elkind that there are others within the Democratic Party who agree with him.

“While a few, maybe just a handful, of MPs have spoken out against this comment, there are many more who have come up to me personally to express their gratitude,” Moulton said. There are a lot of them,” he said.

Moulton also said he would welcome a challenger from within his own party in 2026.

“This is a democracy. If you want to run against me, do it,” Moulton said, but added: “It doesn't really help you win elections.”

“What we have to do is defeat the Republicans, not our fellow Democrats.”

Democratic lawmakers who previously voted in favor of legislation allowing transgender participation in women's sports publicly denounced their support for the concept in the weeks leading up to Election Day. They include Reps. Colin Allred and Vicente Gonzalez of Texas, and Rep. Mary Peltola of Alaska.

Rep. Tom Suozzi (D.N.Y.) also spoke out against transgender inclusion in the same New York Times article as Moulton.

In April, the Biden-Harris administration passed sweeping reforms to Title IX aimed at strengthening gender identity protections in schools and colleges. It clarified that Title IX's prohibition on “sex” discrimination in schools covers discrimination based on gender identity, sexual orientation, and “pregnancy or related conditions.”

And while the government has argued that the regulations do not address athletic eligibility, several experts say evidence presented She told FOX News Digital in June that she expected more biological males to be included in women's sports eventually.

The Democratic Party proposed an amendment to the Equality Act, introduced in 2019, that would “force public schools to allow athletes who identify as biologically male and transgender to participate on girls' sports teams.” We are making a joint proposal.

In March 2023, Democrats proposed a transgender bill of rights, proposing: solution “Recognizes the obligation of the federal government to develop and implement a transgender bill of rights.”

Multiple states filed lawsuits and enacted their own laws to address this problem, and later the U.S. supreme court Then, in August, it voted 5-4 to deny the Biden administration's emergency request to force states to implement measures that would block major changes to Title IX.

But thanks to the work of Democratic judges, these reforms will not be completely blocked. At the high school level, multiple Obama-era federal judges have ruled allowing transgender participation in girls' sports. Judge Randia McCafferty of New Hampshire and Judge M. Hannah Lauck of Virginia ruled earlier this year to allow biological males to play on high school girls' soccer and tennis teams. Both justices were appointed by Mr. Obama in the early 2010s.

President Trump has proposed a complete ban on transgender participation in women's and girls' sports, and he and other Republicans opposed Democrats in recent elections on their way to regaining white supremacy. “People think this is exactly the discussion we need to have, and it’s not just a transgender issue, it’s an economic issue. we can't get in touch What do Americans think about the economy, given President Trump's plan to drastically increase food prices? . . . We are the ones who proposed a bipartisan immigration deal, so why are we so out of touch on immigration?'' Moulton told FOX News Digital.

“Democrats seem to have a lot of good solutions for working Americans, yet we're really out of touch. So we have to ask ourselves, why are so many people across America working? Have you lost contact with him?”
