Democrats treat Republican opposition parties, especially President Donald Trump, the same way Russian President Vladimir Putin treated Alexei Navalny, the 47-year-old opposition leader who died in prison last week after years of brutal persecution. ing.
Of course, Democrats were quick to seize on Navalny’s death and attack Trump.President Joe Biden too was suggested Trump sided with Russia. This is a resurgence of the “collusion” hoax that prevents Democrats from understanding the totalitarian nature of their actions.
But consider the fact that Democrats, through the Biden administration’s Justice Department and elected Democratic prosecutors in New York and Georgia, want to put President Trump in prison for life.
They charged Trump with crimes that carry a total prison term of more than 700 years. One of the federal charges Trump faces could even carry the death penalty, based on an obscure 19th-century law. (Prosecutors say they are not seeking that penalty, but the message was sent.)
In New York, a Democratic judge found Trump liable for civil fraud without allowing him to defend himself. Attorney General Letitia James, who ran on a promise to target President Trump, has used an obscure fraud law in an entirely new way to target Trump. However, he had no intention of defrauding anyone, and the transaction did not cause any harm to the major banks he was dealing with.
Trump was slapped with a huge fine, which he must pay before appealing, but James said he would seize the building if he did not.
That is exactly how President Putin deals with opposition leaders and dissident oligarchy in Russia today, using the same tactics he learned as a KGB agent in the Soviet Union.
Navalny himself found himself in a similar situation when he protested President Trump’s Twitter censorship in 2021.
1. I think banning Donald Trump from Twitter is an unacceptable act of censorship (thread)

American social media companies have censored information that Democrats don’t want the public to know and people who are critical of the party. Just ask Congressman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.). He was calling for journalists to be expelled for reporting on him.
Censorship is not simply the result of private companies acting on their own, as Democrats and pro-Democrat news outlets claim. The evidence is clear. The White House pressured social media companies to violate the First Amendment on behalf of the president.
Additionally, the Justice Department has pursued individuals the administration has identified as political opponents. The government prosecuted hundreds of nonviolent protesters on January 6, holding many in pretrial detention for months and often ruining their lives.
The government is now providing information that appears to have provided false information about a very real pattern of corruption by President Biden and his relatives, who made millions of dollars by selling access to foreign investors and profits. We are currently prosecuting people.
The Justice Department did not punish Christopher Steele for his “Russian collusion” hoax to overturn the 2016 election, and most of the perpetrators were not prosecuted or even punished. Many of them hold high positions within the government.
Just as Putin barred Navalny from running in 2017, Democrats are now trying to remove Trump from the vote in many states. guardian I got it. At that time, it was “because of…” [Navalny’s] He was convicted in a fraud case that was seen as political revenge. ”
Is it familiar? It is a strategy being implemented against President Trump by the very people who refuse to accept the legitimacy of his 2016 victory and who now claim to be “defending democracy.” resemble.
The Biden administration announced new sanctions against Russia this week to punish Putin for Navalny’s death. There is no doubt that Putin is a villain.
But is it worse than Biden, whose campaign lied to 51 national security officials about his son’s laptop and then cited those lies in a debate to win the election?
Elections held primarily by mail, considered potentially fraudulent in most other democracies?
At least Trump stood up to Putin. Democrats not only appease him, they imitate him.
