Dems ‘Find Hope’ in Bernie Sanders, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Rallies

Democrats have appeared to be spinning without stopping the helm since Trump's election, but now there is hope at a rally held by Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).

The Sanders-sponsored the rally attracted around 15,000 people in Tempe, Arizona, filling the arena and overflow room, with thousands waiting outside.

“It's insane. I'm not running anything. People are furious, they're scared, they want to fight back.

Another event in Denver attracted 34,000 people last Friday, according to Sanders' campaign.

The The The article entitled “Dectressed Democrats Find Hope at Bernie Sanders Rallies” was released on Saturday Wall Street Journal I wrote it:

As Democrats struggle to find strategies to fight each other on Capitol Hill and fight Trump's rapidly moving agenda, Sanders step into the void and pitch his prescription on how they can win again. The Democratic Caucus may appear dead at his feet in Washington, but in Arizona, voters are fired at least one night. My colleagues are beginning to borrow from his playbook.

The words “oligarchy of the fight” were projected throughout the hockey arena, with Sanders and his progressive protégé lawmaker Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., New York) opposed Trump and Musk on Thursday. It was a vintage Sanders performance, examining the crowds, paying wages and examples of people living their pay to seek free college or universal health care. However, Sanders was angry and had a long list of what he considered a threat.

Democrats find it difficult to find a way to fight President Donald Trump's agenda, or find a consistent message to revive the Democratic image.

A poll in March found that Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and other Congressional leaders had experienced low-net approval rates. Schumer's approval was ordered after failing to lead Senate Democrats to fight the Republican-led Stop-Gap Expenditure Bill. Now, Democrats seem keen to find a new leader for Senate Democrats.

At the very least, Sanders believes there's a long way to go, saying Democrats “in fact, Democrats don't exist in terms of fighting for the working class of this country.” They weren't there. ”

Vermont Progressive praised Trump's efforts to break the ranks at his party on Sunday and secure the border.

Sanders asked from the ABC if Trump believes he is doing the right thing. “So I think we're cracking down on fentanyl, we're making sure our borders get stronger. Look, everyone thinks illegal immigration is appropriate.

“My colleagues are not stupid. They are generally very, very smart. And you have to be deaf, stupid and blind to not analyse the solutions,” Sanders said of the other Democrats who adopted his populist-style message.

But Republicans believe these rallies are simply distracting from the recent failures of Democrats.

“New Democratic leaders, Bernie Sanders and AOC, play the latest political theatres determined to distract Democrats from their failed records and crumbling brands,” said Emily Tuttle, a spokesman for the House Republican Campaign Committee. She added that Americans are “not fooled by this transparent attempt to push the fundamental agenda on the far left and right sides.”
