National Justice correspondent Ellie Mister said on Monday on “Morning Joe” that when he comes to power, Democrats should change the law, saying “If they are eligible to vote, they should be automatically registered to vote.”
Mistle said, “We can eliminate all voter registration laws. When Democrats are in charge, we try to protect the right to vote. We are not trying to make voting easier. Now I have a different opinion on whether all the requirements should be. Eligibility requirements.”
He continued. “But if you are eligible, why do you need to register in advance? Why wasn't it in this country? It wasn't in the establishment. There was no voter registration in 1821. We did not have voter registration. A herd of immigrants from Europe and Italy must register here. Registered voters.”
Mystal added: “It's the first law in the book where we can see a different way from what we say we need to change and protect our voting rights. No, we don't need to protect our voting rights. They'll be easier because we expanded our voting rights and locked out this last election between democracy and fascism.
