Dems seizing Trump’s properties will create ‘greatest victimhood of 2024,’ re-elect ex-prez: Frank Lutz

Frank Luntz, a longtime Republican pollster, said efforts to seize former President Trump’s assets to satisfy a nine-figure civil fraud judgment would have dire consequences for the election. I warned you.

“You’re going to make the biggest casualty in 2024 and elect Donald Trump,” Luntz said. During a panel discussion on CNN Thursday.

“If they get his hands on his stuff, it’s proof that the federal government and the establishment in Washington and the swamp and politicians and attorneys general across the country and all of this is a conspiracy to deny,” he said. “He’s going to be the president,” Luntz continued, “and he’s going to move up in the polls, just like he’s moved up in the polls with every indictment.” It will go up.”

The comments came to CNN host John Berman and a panel of network contributors who have remained largely silent. At times, Ms. Luntz looked into the camera as if she was appealing directly to New York Attorney General Letitia James.

“I’ll say this to the attorney general right now, if you’re going to politicize this, this is what the secretary of state did in Colorado, this is what they did in Maine. And I believe his numbers have increased in both states,” Lantz said. “I’m almost speechless when I think about how pathetic and completely misguided the opposition to President Trump has been. This is a perfect example of that.”

Mr. James began the process Thursday to claim ownership of the Trump National Golf Club Westchester and the 230-acre Seven Springs property in Bedford County.

The move comes after President Trump was unable to find the funds to satisfy a $464 million civil fraud judgment he received last month. The attorney general has broad powers to claim Mr. Trump’s assets and sell them if he wishes. The former president has vowed to appeal the ruling.
