Derrick Henry grabbed a mic to salute Titans fans as he enters free agency

It looks like they're saying goodbye.

Henry paid tribute to Titans fans, thanking them for “the best eight years of my life.”

If this was Henry's swan song at Tennessee, it was his very last game. Henry played perhaps his best game of the season as the Titans denied the Jaguars their second straight AFC South title and a playoff berth. Henry had a season-high 153 yards on 19 carries and scored a touchdown in Tennessee's 28-20 victory.

It was the fourth time this season that Henry had over 100 yards in a game.

If Henry transfers from Tennessee, it's likely that a number of teams will be in the market for his services.upon CBS Sports Bill Cowher claimed that any team looking to make the playoffs in 2024 would want Henry and his ability to wear teams down in the final minutes of games.
