Dershowitz: Judges are hiding information about Epstein, not the Trump administration

Alan Del Shaw, who previously worked as a lawyer for Jeffrey Epstein, claims that two judges in New York are hiding information related to cases involving dishonest financiers and convicted sex offenders, rather than the Trump administration being at fault.

His comments arise amid scrutiny over how President Trump and his Justice Department (DOJ) have managed document handling in the matter.

Dershowitz, who assisted Epstein with his 2008 plea deal, emphasized that there isn’t a “client list” associated with Epstein, describing it instead as an FBI affidavit put together by an accuser.

“Several accusers have pointed fingers at various individuals, alleging inappropriate conduct, but the names of those accused are obscured. As a lawyer, I’ve delved into this, so I’m aware of who they are,” he noted.

The former attorney argued that none of the individuals mentioned in the affidavits currently occupy public positions.

“Some of these people have passed away, and I used to hold office,” he shared with Chris Cuomo. “But there’s no client list, and if this goes to court, the edits could be undone.”

Dershowitz stated that much of the information is being suppressed by the two judges in Manhattan, who, in the eyes of victims, seem to be protecting the suspects without understanding the full situation.

He maintained that he was unable to disclose further details due to a judge’s order but mentioned that Pam Bondy and Attorney General Trump are not to blame for the lack of information.

“I can’t say what they might reveal or not reveal. There could be something out there, but I’m not aware of it,” he said. “It’s vital to assign responsibility where it properly belongs.”

Bondi is currently facing significant backlash from Trump’s supporters following a joint memo from the DOJ and FBI that indicated no client list exists and there’s no evidence of Epstein being murdered while in a New York City prison. Epstein had died by suicide in 2019.

Trump recently backed Bondi, telling his supporters that she is doing excellent work and urging them to move past the issue. However, some within the movement, including activist Laura Rumer, are calling for her dismissal.

In a February interview with Fox News, Bondi mentioned that Epstein’s “client list” was on her desk for review. Recently, she clarified that she was referring to documents related to the Epstein case.

Charlie Kirk, a conservative activist and ally of Trump, voiced his trust in the administration over document management but expressed a desire for the DOJ to protect the Grand Jury testimonies.

“Honestly, I’m done discussing Epstein for now,” Kirk stated on the Real America Voice Show. “I have faith in my friends in the administration and government to handle this appropriately.”
