The DeSantis campaign and many of its supporters have made claims of “election interference” after a myriad of networks called former President Donald Trump's campaign in Iowa, pointing to a landslide victory for the presidential candidate. whining and posting.
Multiple news outlets reported that Trump's campaign would begin less than an hour after the Iowa caucuses began. In fact, CNN and the Associated Press called Trump's caucuses 30 minutes into the nomination process, and other news organizations quickly followed suit.

But Team DeSantis and its allies say announcing Trump's candidacy so early is a form of “election interference.”
Andrew Romeo, communications director for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, said: “It is completely outrageous that the media would participate in election interference and interfere in an election before tens of thousands of Iowans have even had a chance to vote.''
