Video has gone viral showing an unmarked Black Hawk helicopter blowing up tents and supplies at the Hurricane Helen relief base in Burnsville, North Carolina. Americans across the country are wondering whether this was an accident or a heinous event.
United Cajun Navy Vice President Brian Trasher is on the ground in North Carolina helping people affected by Hurricane Helen, but he doesn't quite know what to make of it.
“I wasn't there myself, but I watched the video many times,” says pilot Trasher. glenn beck “The Glenn Beck Program”. “To me, it looks like, first of all, he was flying too low. The FAA requires you to stay 500 feet above any structure or person. It's a rule.”
“It looks like he's doing a left bank and then making a pitch, which in my opinion has added to the intensity of the rotary wash that blows all the material in the tent. And then he throws forward. and took off,” Trasher continued.
“No one, including me, knows what the intent was. Some people say, 'Oh, the pilot just lost situational awareness and made a mistake,'” he explains. “I'm like, 'Listen, a Black Hawk pilot is a rotary-wing Top Gun.'”
“The only Black Hawk pilots who make mistakes are the ones who die,” he added.
Trasher believes this was a “sinister attack” or, more ominously, “they were trying to send some kind of message.”
“I hate going down rabbit holes,” he added.
“Do we at least know if this was private?” Glenn asked, noting that people can purchase Black Hawk helicopters for personal use.
“So, my first instinct was, you're right, money can buy you anything,” Trasher said, although through video analysis it was discovered that “apparently he's registered with the military.” “Nowadays, even with inflation, you can hire MPs fairly cheaply.''
“Let's say it was the military. The last thing we want is for people to find out who the pilot is and start harassing them and things like that,” he added.
