Did Jen Psaki finally acknowledge she was aware of Biden’s decline?

For quite some time, many have questioned the mental sharpness of Joe Biden, and it seems that some former White House staff, along with various media voices, are starting to confirm those doubts. Notably, Ron Crane, a former White House Chief of Staff, along with others, seem to agree that the concerns had merit.

Recently, Jen Psaki, who served as Biden’s spokesperson, addressed the topic of his cognitive state on Semafor Media’s “mixed signal” program.

Pat Gray shared a clip of her remarks.

“I left in May 2022…and I’ve only seen Biden once since then,” she mentioned. “I took my daughter to a holiday party after losing her last December, and didn’t have a chance to see him otherwise.”

She continued, “What was visible during that time? I really can’t say. Were they hiding things? Was it denial? I’m unsure.”

Psaki elaborated, “The term ‘concealment’ is quite charged. People associate it with Watergate… It’s rather a loaded word.”

As for the current situation, Pat Gray claimed that the notion of a “cover-up” has merit. “Yes, people are indeed protecting him, and it’s now being recognized openly,” he said, adding, “When discussing the head of state, that crosses a line.”

Even amidst the uncertainty surrounding Psaki’s comments, there’s a lingering sentiment: “[Biden] has certainly lost a step (or more).”

Pat remarked that these signs were evident even during the 2020 campaign, observing that Biden wasn’t quite the same as he was when he initially ran in 2008.
