This Week’s Highlights from Special Forces: The World’s Toughest Test
This week’s episode revolved around the theme of trust. It raised questions about the bonds among recruits. Who could they really rely on? And what about the supervisors—could they trust the recruits not to sneak snacks when no one was looking? Most crucially, could the recruits depend on each other as they faced challenging diving tasks together?
During the final challenge, pairs had to perform a “backward dive” from a daunting height. The tricky part? They needed to leap backward into the water simultaneously. Missing that synchronization meant failure.
Jesse James Decker and Christy Pierce Rampone were up first. Just before their jump—leading to some uncomfortable stomach pains—Rampone panicked and flailed, throwing off the timing of their jump. When Jessie surfaced, she had a bloody nose. Was it due to the shock? Or did Rampone accidentally hit her? “I feel like I’m broken,” Jessie shared with her husband, Eric Decker, discussing the “bump” on her nose. Gia Giudice, on the lighter side, quipped about it being her “Italian bump” and jokingly revealed to Jessie that she had “shaved” it off.
“If we break it, we might have an excuse to fix it,” Jesse joked with Eric.
So did Jesse actually sustain a broken nose? Let’s find out what we know.
Did Jesse James Decker Break Her Nose on Special Forces: The World’s Toughest Test?
By the conclusion of Season 4, Episode 5, it seems that Jesse’s nose isn’t broken after all. Although she was bleeding post-dive, there was no report of her needing medical attention at the time. Plus, she participated in the group punishment that followed. So, we can reasonably conclude that she wasn’t in some sort of medical crisis, but then again, things can shift quickly in these episodes. Let’s hope she’s got plenty of strength left!
