Testimony revealed that after Sean “Diddy” Combs vacated his hotel room, which was often slick with baby oil and candle wax, the music mogul was frequently charged $1,000 for damages.
Internal notes from L’ermitage Hotel indicated that the rooms occupied by the founder of Bad Boy Records required thorough cleaning, given his tendency to “paint everything with candles and use excess oil.”
One note outlined that guests should be informed about the additional $1,000 fee to cover any damage.
According to the profile, Combs preferred his room to be “Hot!”
A memo from January 10, 2010, noted that hotel staff found “a lot of candle wax” spattered on the carpet and in the living and bedroom areas at night.
As a result, Combs faced a $500 charge for the damage, according to the documentation.
Staff also noted that odors from Combs’ room were evident.
The profile specified that staff would spray air freshener in the hallways near his room.
