Diddy’s apology shows no remorse attacking Cassie Ventura

Days after surveillance video surfaced showing Diddy violently attacking his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, the hip-hop icon apologized on social media.

“It’s so hard to reflect on the darkest times in your life. Sometimes you just have to do it,” Diddy began in a video posted to social media. “I hit rock bottom, but I make no excuses. My actions in that video are inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video.”

“I was disgusted when I did it. I’m disgusted now,” he added.

Didi claimed she then sought professional help through therapy and rehabilitation, and asked “God for mercy and grace”.

“I am very sorry, but I strive to be a better person every day. I am not asking for forgiveness. I am truly sorry,” he concluded.

“Fearless” host Jason Whitlock believes the apology was completely empty.

“Very weak; very dishonest. Very self-protective… very dishonest. It was all damage control. There’s no real sadness. There’s no real repentance,” Whitlock explained. , adding, “Now that the tape has come out, Diddy is clearly remorseful and has apologized.”

“The man has denied these allegations for years, saying for years it never happened. And now that the tape has been released, he’s saying, ‘Well, that never happened. I can’t lie, so let’s get out of here, put on a sad face, pretend to be sorry, and issue a disingenuous order.’I apologize,” Whitlock continued.

Given how much has been happening and coming to light lately regarding rappers and the rap industry itself, Diddy should probably apologize even more deeply.

“If Diddy’s interest was really in making amends with the American people and regaining his ability to live as a free man in America, then he would be hip-hop’s whistleblower,” Whitlock says.

Not only that, Diddy has recently come under fire for his alleged role in a sex trafficking ring, and even had his house searched.

“We were all sitting around waiting for Diddy to get arrested. That’s not happening and this probably shows how much dirt he has on other celebrities, politicians and influencers.” Whitlock said, “They’re not ready to lock up Diddy. He might actually get away with this.”
