Walt Disney World is purchasing adult meal plans and offering free meals to children all year round.
Children aged 3-9 who are staying at one of the Disney Resort hotels can “eat for free when purchasing a meal plan as part of a package for other members of the party (ages 10 and above). According to a Disney Parks blog post.
Typically Disney’s special offers are not eligible to be combined with discounts, but Disney says it won’t be like that next year.
“The provision of a free dining plan for children can be combined with other options special offers, meaning you may be eligible to take advantage of other deals that will unfold later in 2026,” the Disney Parks blog states.
Starting Tuesday, guests can begin booking their 2026 holiday to Walt Disney World.
Those who stay at the property enjoy perks such as free standard parking, free transportation around the resort, and early theme park entries for valid theme park entry.
Disney Resort Hotel guests can access meal reservations, Lightning Lane, advanced access and purchase tickets to select special events.
Guests at Disney Deluxe Resorts or Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts will also extend the evening hours at the theme park of their choice on a specific day.
Additionally, guests at Disney Resort Hotels who return in the summer of 2026 will be able to get free water park admission on the day of check-in.
Disney is preparing for the competitive summer summer when the Universal Epic Universe opens in Orlando on May 22nd.
The new park is currently hosting a preview of the passholder.
