FBI’s “Arctic Frost” Investigation Under Biden Administration

In 2022, the FBI initiated a covert operation known as “Arctic Frost” under President Biden’s leadership. Recent disclosures, thanks to whistleblowers and a new Senate report from Senators Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), have revealed troubling details.

Documents indicate that this operation focused on an extensive list of 92 individuals and groups, potentially targeting many aligned with late political figure Charlie Kirk, particularly his organization, Turning Point USA.

Grassley described “Arctic Frost” as a method for certain FBI agents and Justice Department prosecutors to carry out biased investigations aimed at the Republican Party. His comments came during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on September 16, 2025.

Matthew Peterson, a co-host of “Blaze News: The Mandate,” expressed concern about these developments, stating, “It’s a broad investigation of our political adversaries.” He pointed out that the involvement of groups like Turning Point USA reflects a worrying pattern of monitoring political opponents.

Bedford, senior political editor at Blaze Media, noted that the operation’s timing coincided with a politically charged atmosphere, particularly as Trump was rumored to run again during a challenging period for Biden. He linked “Arctic Frost” to a broader anti-Trump agenda, detailing past incidents like the now-infamous raid on former FBI Director James Comey and probes into GOP finances related to the January 6 Capitol events.

Bedford remarked that certain actions by the FBI were attempts to obscure their dealings, particularly fearing that if Trump returned to power, he would reveal evidence of wrongdoing. He suggested that this desperation reflects a broader guilt about their operations.

Peterson further stressed the necessity of accountability, arguing that the normalization of such investigations into political opponents is unacceptable. “This cannot become a standard practice,” he warned, advocating for significant structural reforms.
