Dodgers’ Shohei Ohtani put on a show for Tom Hanks, Rob Lowe

In a city filled with A-listers, Dodgers superstar Shohei ohtani was the main attraction on Thursday.

In front of Hollywood's biggest name and one of the city's biggest sports icons, Otani sent an explosion into the left field stands during seven innings for the second home run of the season with the Dodgers' 5-4 victory.

The sturdy hitters counted against Detroit's right-hander Brennan Hoenifie, then used a 95-mph sinker to send it to the other side for Homer on the opposite field.

Among those who saw the Dodgers celebrate their home run during the first Dodgers stateside game of the season were nothing more than Tom Hanks and Lakers' great magical Johnson, who owns part of the Dodgers.

The ESPN broadcast showed Hanks shaking hands with the High Five after a long ball.

He also seemed to squeal at the person he called the home run.

Johnson was also shown to celebrate with the people around him with ear to ear grin on the solo explosion.

Additionally, actor Rob Lowe was on hand, and enjoyed the Otani blast from a seat near the home plate.

ESPN showed Lowe jumping up to his leg, shocking his mouth.

Otani scored a 4-2 home run, with the run scoring.

Following the victory, Tescar Hernandez praised the influence of the seventh Otani as a key part of the victory.

“But I think the most important thing is Shohei's because they scored two points after my Homer and Shohei put up Clutch and gave me the lead (addition) in that situation,” he said. According to the Los Angeles Daily News.

Thursday's victory extended the Dodgers' record to 3-0, launching a new season that began in Japan with two wins with the Cubs in early March.
