Dodgers’ star Yoshinobu Yamamoto sparks Niki Niwa rumors after Beverly Hills outing

Dodgers pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Japanese model Niki Niwa have been rumored to be dating after they were spotted together at a Beverly Hills shopping mall.

TikTokker Jack Banana approached the two and asked, “Are you Yoshinobu?”, to which the pitcher answered in the affirmative.

He then asked Niwa how he was and what his name was, to which Niwa answered “Niki.''

Niwa has appeared in the Netflix reality series “Terrace House” and the streaming service's series “Peanut Butter Sandwich.”

The Dodgers signed Yamamoto to a 12-year contract worth $325 million last season and also signed fellow Japanese star Shohei Ohtani to a blockbuster $700 million deal. Shohei Ohtani agreed to defer most of the money to help him sign with Los Angeles. Star.

Yamamoto pitched 90 innings during the regular season, posting a 7-2 record with 105 strikeouts, an ERA of 3.00, and a WHIP of 1.11.

In the playoffs, he had a 2-0 record with a 3.86 ERA in five games against the Yankees before the Dodgers won the World Series.

In Game 2 of the World Series, the Dodgers defeated the Yankees 4-2, and Yamamoto pitched 6 1/3 innings, allowing one earned run and striking out four.

Teammate relief pitcher Daniel Hudson raved about how Yamamoto adapted to his first season in MLB.
