The Government's Department of Efficiency (DOGE) reportedly saved the US federal government $100 billion, and their efforts are never over.

According to calculations posted on Doge's website, Doge's efforts saved $105 billion, with the number representing “the combination of asset sales, contract/lease cancellation and renegotiation, fraud and improper payment removal, subsidies cancellation, interest savings, program changes, regulatory savings, and labor expansion.”
In a close breakdown, the website shows that $105 billion in savings ultimately led to $652.17 per taxpayer savings.
Doge provided numerous receipts showing 2,334 cancelled contracts at various government agencies, including diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility (DEIA) contracts supported by Democrats during the Biden administration.
On Saturday, the department announced the cancellation of “128 contracts for $60 million in savings.”
“Since Doge's founding, the total termination of unnecessary contracts has exceeded 3,000!” has been announced. “This included a $3.5 million consulting agreement for 'surveillance of larval fish', which the Regenerative Bureau was identified as non-critical. ”
The department also provided a list of 3,489 cancelled grants, resulting in $10 billion in taxpayer savings.
This includes $1.7 million for a “longitudinal study of Chinese health and retirement” at Peking University in Beijing, China. $1.3 million for “Gender Divers Young Adult Health Change.” $400,000 to “exploring the causes of minority stress and alcohol consumption” among “adults reporting uncertainty about sexual orientation.” $241,000 for “interventions to promote healthy relationships between transgender and vast young people of gender.”
