DOGE doubles down on ‘What did you do last week’ emails — with a new requirement

Elon Musk's government efficiency sent a second mass email to employees in the enforcement department who require that weekly performance be listed by midnight Monday, but there are new requirements except for confidential information.

There was a new Missive Hit email box through the Human Resources Office on Saturday night, “What Did You Do Last Week? Part II,” a callback to last week's Doge Mail, causing fuss and confusion.

Federal employees will need to write an email until 11:59pm on Monday, listing five bullets explaining what they achieved last week.

The email added a new requirement that an agency targeted to target agencies that attempted to be exempt from additional paperwork due to the confidential nature of the work.

Respondents were told not to send links, attachments, or classified or sensitive information, and were given the option to write “All my activities are sensitive.”

“From now on, please complete the above tasks each week by 11:59pm by Monday,” the email said.

Several of Trump's newly appointed agency managers have told employees to ignore Mask's accountability-oriented email initiative.

Both FBI director Kash Patel and National Intelligence director Tulsi Gabbard have told the agency to ignore demand.

Masks utilized X to emphasize that email is a must. In response to the allegations, Secretary Pete Hegses told Department of Defense employees to distribute their reports internally and similarly to the OPM.

“The president has made it clear that this is essential for government agencies. Anyone who is working on classified or other confidential matters must respond when they receive an email, but they can say their work is sensitive,” said the 53-year-old. I wrote it on x.

At the first cabinet meeting of President Trump's second term, Musk addressed the assembled secretaries and explained the purpose of the memorization task.

“I think the email was probably misunderstood as a performance review, but in fact it was a pulse check review.” The mask saidwhile making America a great hat.

“But I think there are a lot of people who are dying in government salaries, which is probably why they can't handle it,” Musk said with a laugh.

During an oval office meeting with French President Macron, President Trump said those who do not answer emails are at risk of being fired.
